Clowns Without Borders UK (CWB UK) will be visiting FDMN in Cox’s Bazar January 20- February 2, 2018.
The registered charity that aims to share laughter with children in crisis will be building the capacity of
BRAC barefoot counselors, para-counselors and psychologists through training sessions. CWB UK will
also be organizing performances for the children of the FDMN community to spread a little cheer to
these little ones who witnessed a lot in their short life.
Through playful and inclusive performances and workshops CWB UK recognises, that despite the trauma
or difficulties they may have witnessed, children have the right to play, have fun and relax. In short, they
carefully construct moments for children to simply be children, free from concern. CWB UK is part of the
Clowns Without Borders International Organisation (CWBI). Last year CWBI worked in 43 different
countries reaching over 355,000 children and their communities. Their international partners include
UNHCR, UNICEF, Plan International, Mines Advisory Group and Save the Children.
